Olympus Introduces New Urine Chemistry Calibrator
Orlando, FL, July 26, 2005 - Olympus has announced the availability of the new Olympus Urine Chemistry Calibrator DR0090. It is designed for the calibration of urine assays on the full line of Olympus chemistry-immuno analyzers, including the AU400/400e®, AU600®, AU640/640e®, AU2700® and AU5400®.
The new urine calibrator allows for enhanced performance of the company's urine assays by demonstrating improved recoveries for samples requiring sample pre-dilution, and by minimizing instrument-to-instrument variation, resulting in tighter control ranges and more accurate patient results.
This single point, ready to use liquid calibrator provides true calibration for all urine chemistries including Calcium Arsenazo, Calcium oCPC, Creatinine, Glucose, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Urea, Uric Acid, and Urine Protein.
