Look for the Olympus Photo Cart as it roams the tournament grounds. Olympus staff will be snapping pictures for complimentary retrieval online or at the Olympus Booth.
Roaming Photographer
Let the Olympus Photo Ambassador take your photo! If you’ve ever been to an event with a friend and had to ask a stranger to take your photo, only to get home and learn that the stranger’s thumb was covering your face, or the photo was out of focus, you know the frustration of not capturing that action.
An official Olympus Photo Ambassador will take the place of that stranger and roam the tournament grounds wearing branded apparel, offering attendees the service of a friendly photographer to help capture your special experiences at the Olympus US Open Series tournaments.
Autograph Sessions
Meet Olympus-sponsored tennis players John Isner and Sam Querrey during autograph sessions conducted at the Olympus Booth and Olympus Misting Tent.
Photo Clinics
Join Olympus Technical Representatives for a Photo Clinic where you will learn tips, tricks, and recommended camera settings for tennis photography. Learn everything you need to know to capture the action!
Capture the Action Photo Contest
Test your photographic skills in the Olympus "Capture the Action" Photo Contest. During each of the Olympus US Open Series tournaments, Olympus Stylus Tough-6000 cameras can be checked out at the Olympus Booth. Your challenge is to capture that day's best photo! Daily winners will receive an Olympus Stylus Tough-6000 camera and will be entered to win the grand prize package – an Olympus E-620 Digital SLR Camera! The grand-prize winner will be selected by the general public through online voting at www.olympususopenseries.com.
This year, participants will also be encouraged to take short movies with their borrowed Olympus Stylus Tough-6000 cameras. Movies will be for fun viewing and potentially be displayed at the Olympus Booth, but will not be included in the online voting.
Shoot with the Pros Sweeps
Register for a chance to "Shoot with the Pros" at the Olympus Booth located on the tournament grounds. Lucky winners will receive an all-expenses paid trip and tickets to the 2010 US Open!
Shot Spot Contest
Participate in a scavenger hunt-style photo contest by finding pre-designated "Olympus Scenic Spots" on the tournament grounds. The best photos may even make their way to the stadium JumboTron where audience members can vote for their favorite photo!
