Can you have the back LCD (liquid crystal display) monitor on and the electronic viewfinder turned off? If you turn on the back LCD, the electronic viewfinder will remain on while in a shooting mode. There is no setting on the camera to use only the back LCD monitor while shooting. If you playback images in the Play mode, only the LCD monitor will turn on. However, if you press the Monitor button while in the Play mode, than the back LCD monitor will turn off. The image will display only in the viewfinder LCD. |
What does "Battery Save" in the camera setup menu do? This setting helps to conserve battery power by restricting several functions: The back LCD monitor cannot be turned on while in a shooting mode, it will turn on while in the Play mode. Full-Time AF (auto focus) cannot be used and the viewfinder will turn off after the 30 sec. without use. |
How does changing the quality setting in a shooting mode affect other shooting modes? There are three groupings of shooting modes on the C-725 UZ: 1) Program & A/S/M, 2) Auto & Sports & Portrait & Landscape, 3) Movie mode. Each group can retain a quality selection for all modes in the group. Therefore, you cannot have a different quality setting for each shooting mode within a grouping. |
