After working solely with film, always carrying heavy gear and
equipment on his many excursions across the globe, John Isaac has
now made the switch to digital. “I wanted my life to be much
more simple than having to carry this huge gear everywhere I went,”
he explained. “Recently I began to work with Olympus digital
cameras, the C-2100 and the E-10. The results have been excellent.”
John’s digital fascination also includes the E-20N, just one
of the Olympus digital cameras he now frequently uses to freeze
beautiful moments involving nature, landscapes, and animals (including
his two Bengal cats, Tippu and Rana) in his memory forever.
Using Olympus digital cameras has also provided John with the ease-of-use
and flexibility needed to quickly capture the shots he wants. No
more switching lenses. No more loading films. No more waiting to
see his picture results. All the while producing fantastic images
flowing with lots of texture and detail to make them the most realistic
digital images yet.
Digital Tips:
1. Always keep your camera “on” when you are taking
pictures. This seems simple enough, but since there’s a delay
from the time you turn on your digital camera to shooting pictures,
it’s important. By leaving the camera on, you can avoid this
lag time and be ready to shoot at will.
2. When you are exposing for long exposures (2 seconds or more),
make sure you turn on the noise reduction feature if your digital
camera has it. It really helps provide very nice details, even in
shadow areas.
