Firmware update for the WS-320M/WS-310M/WS-300M
|
This firmware update will revise the following:
- Makes the WS-300M, WS-310M and WS-320M compatible with Windows Vista. This will enable the successful download and playback of DRM content using Windows Media Player 11 and Windows Vista to the recorders.
- Will enable MP3 files with large ID3 tag information -- delivered from Podcasting etc. -- to be played back.
- It will solve the issue that when a new battery is inserted, the battery indicator may not be displayed correctly.
- It will improve the response speed of the fast and slow playback for files with long recording times.
- It will implement a “System information” item in the Menu to confirm the unit’s firmware version.
- It will help prevent occasional freezing while the unit is in use.
- It will decrease the occurrence of “Copy error of the file or the folder” or “Error occurred” messages, and improve music or audio file downloading on PCs using Windows Me.
