When I playback my pictures I can zoom in on an image. How can I save the zoomed image?
Answer:
When you are displaying an image in playback, you can’t save the zoomed image you see on the screen. However, you can create and save a copy of a partially zoomed image by cropping in-camera using the Playback EDIT menu.
In a Four Thirds DSLR, in the Playback Mode, select an image and open the camera’s menu. Select the EDIT tab and open it. Select EDIT and then select RAW/JPEG. Press the OK button and scroll down to the icon that looks like a rectangle made up of two Ls and press the OK button. You will see a frame indicating the cropped area. By turning the Main Dial, different cropped areas and vertical and horizontal orientations will be displayed. One you have selected a cropped frame, use the UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT arrow buttons to position the cropped area. Press the OK button, select YES, and press the OK button again to save a cropped version of the image to the memory card. The original will remain unchanged.
Using a PEN camera, select an image in the Playback Mode and press the OK button. A list will open headed by JPEG EDIT. Press the OK button and select the icon that looks like a rectangle made up of two Ls. Use the Main Dial or Sub Dial to select the cropped area and vertical or horizontal orientation. Once you have selected a cropped frame, use the UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT positions on the Main Dial or arrow key pad to position the cropped area. Press the OK button, select YES and press the OK button again to save a cropped version of the image to the memory card. The original will remain unchanged.
