| Home >> Ask Olympus: Lens and flash compatibility with older E-System models |

Question:
Is my older E-System Camera compatible with the new lenses and flashes?
Answer: Yes! The new E-System lenses and flashes are compatible with all E-System cameras. All Olympus Zuiko Digital™ Four Thirds lenses are interchangeable; so, whether you have an E-300, an E-3, or any other Olympus digital SLR, you can use any of the lenses in the Zuiko Digital™ lens family with your camera.
You can also use many of the lenses in the Zuiko™ family (OM lenses for film cameras) with your E-System camera with the MF-1 OM adapter.
Olympus' new wireless flash models, like the FL-50R and FL36R, will also work with all E-System cameras — though the wireless function is only workable on the E-3.
