Q:What are the CPU requirements of a personal computer to allow installation of the software?
The use of Pentium 4 2GHz or faster CPU is recommended.
Q:What are the memory requirements for a personal computer for installation of this application software?
The use of at least 512 MB of main memory is recommended.
Q:Which operating systems are compatible with installation of this application software?
The use of Windows XP SP2 or Windows VISTA is recommended as the operating system.
64 bit edition operating systems cannot be accepted.
Q:Which peripheral devices of a personal computer are needed to allow installation of this product's application software and use of the individual functions?
The required peripheral devices are:

Q:Which requirements must the installation drive of a personal computer meet to allow installation of this product's application software and use of the individual functions?
30 GB of free space is recommended.
Q:Which requirements must the monitor of a personal computer meet to allow installation of this product's application software and use of the individual functions?
The monitor must be XGA, SXGA, or SXGA+.
Q:Is it possible to measure the color of any tooth?
The device is designed to measure central incisors, lateral incisors, canine and first premolar teeth.
Q:Does color measurement impose any restriction about the size of teeth?
Are there any tooth size restrictions?
Teeth larger than 14 mm in height and 11mm in width may not present sufficient color measurement precision.
Q:Does color measurement precision depend on the patient's lips or
their tooth size and position in the arch form?
A patient's lips and tooth alignment may allow entry of outside light resulting in insufficient color measurement precision.
Q:Is it possible to measure the colors of the soft tissues?
Color measurement can be performed only for teeth.
Color measurement of other structures is not supported.
Color measurement is not supported for arch and face image capture.
Q:My contact Caps are out of stock.
Is it all right to perform image capture without a Contact Cap attached until ordered Contact Caps arrive?
Always use Contact Caps at the time of tooth image capture.
Contact Caps are intended for tooth image capture only, not for Face and Arch images acquisition.
Q:Is this product water-resistant?
This product is not water-resistant.
Do not spill liquid such as water on the product.
Do not prepare, inspect, or use the product with wet hands.
Q:Should the spectrophotometer be placed on the cradle when not in use?
If the cradle is placed at an unstable location and dropped, the product can be damaged.
If the spectrophotometer is placed upside down, foreign objects may be introduced into the image capture opening.
Q:The Contact Cap supplied with the purchased product has been lost. What should we do?
Contact Caps are available for purchase.
Q:Is it acceptable to throw used Contact Caps into the trash?
Yes, Contact Caps are not medical waste. They can go into the regular trash.
Q:How long does it take to charge the battery?
It takes approximately three hours to fully charge the battery.
Q:Is installation of the software absolutely necessary?
The analysis of images captured by the spectrophotometer must be performed with the Crystaleye Application Master software.
Q:Is it possible to install the software in a removable disk, so that we can use it with a personal computer at another location?
This product cannot be installed on a network folder or removable disk.
Q:Is it possible to import images taken with a digital camera?
This product does not have an import function.
Q:What types of software can be installed through the Crystaleye Application?
The following two types of applications can be installed through Crystaleye Application Master:
·Crystaleye Application
·Configuration.
Q:What is the purpose and function of the Crystaleye Application software?
In dental offices, this application is used for acquiring images of
teeth captured by the spectrophotometer, for color analysis, and for
the creation of laboratory reports.
In dental laboratories, this application is used to open laboratory
reports and image data from a dental office and for advanced color
analysis.
