Olympus America Inc. today announced the availability of the Japanese version of the AABB Technical Manual, 13th Edition. The project commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Japanese Society of Transfusion Medicine. It was produced in coordination with Dr. Yoichi Shibata, Tokyo University Hospital and Chairperson of the JSTM.
Olympus, which sponsored the publication's production, will provide the manual free of charge to anyone in transfusion medicine. Samples of the book will be displayed at the AABB meeting, Oct. 26 - 29, Orlando, at the Olympus Booth # 909.
The AABB Technical Manual is a popular reference guide in Japan. It has not been published in Japanese since 1985.
