Three New PEN Cameras

Today Olympus launches three new PEN compact system cameras designed to help inspiration-seekers capture their unique visions and share their stories in brilliant still images and high-definition (HD) video. The Olympus PEN family combines the portability of a point-and-shoot with features found on bulkier cameras or camcorders to deliver amazing image quality and lightning fast speed. With a new 12.3-megapixel Live MOS Image Sensor, TruePic VI Image Processor, high ISO of 12,800, a reengineered autofocus system, full 1080i HD video with Dolby Digital sound recording, newly designed user interfaces and a variety of Art Filters and built-in creative features, these powerfully simple cameras offer advanced capabilities without the complexity of a digital single lens reflex (DSLR) camera.

XZ-1

Olympus takes their compact digital cameras to the X-treme with the introduction of an ultra-compact flagship camera and first of a new series, the XZ-1. Shoot stunning, high-quality images or HD video with the XZ-1's fast f1.8-2.5 iZUIKO digital lens. The XZ-1 also offers the advanced manual controls that experienced photographers expect from digital SLR cameras.

LS-7

The new LS-7 “pocket” linear PCM audio recording device offers cutting-edge innovative features like a pre-record buffer, an omni-directional mic to pick up lower bass frequencies, a switchable low-cut filter that eliminates unwanted low-frequency noise and voice guidance for users with assistive needs. The new features come in a compact, lightweight, sleek metal body with uncompressed 24 bit/96 kHz Linear PCM recording format for digital stereo recordings at an affordable price.
