MicroSuite™ FIVE provides for image acquisition from a wide range of digital (and video) cameras. The user can control exposure time, binning, white balance, black balance, sharpening, and other acquisition-related parameters. TTL signals are supported.

 
 
Acquisition Toolbar
 
The 'Live Processing' and 'Live Overlay' modes (available for select cameras) offer the ability to process images during acquisition, i.e. in real time. The live histogram and overexposure warning help to utilize the full dynamic range of the camera, without oversaturating the images.

Additional features have been implemented in MicroSuite™ FIVE for select cameras:
  Hamamatsu cameras:
- One DCAM driver works for all Hamamatsu cameras
Olympus DP70 and DP30 cameras:
- Autocalibration during software installation
- Overlay feature for manual MIA acquisition
- Fast autofocus
- IP-addressability through NetCam
