Whole Slide Stereology is an unbiased method of estimating important features, such as total cell count, volume, surface area, length, volume/area fraction and numeric density. Design-based stereology makes no assumptions and will provide you with 3-dimensional unbiased estimates that are statistically correct. Together with the newest whole slide technology this is now very fast and efficient.

The Visiopharm software is available for the Olympus VS120 slide scanners and it combined the strengths of Image Analysis and Stereology in one platform.
