Olympus America Inc. and Visiopharm A/S are proud to offer a series of Whole Slide Image Analysis and Stereology seminars across the United States. Come see how Image Analysis and Stereology combined with today's advanced whole slide scanner technology can dramatically facilitate your laboratory's workflow and reduce your workload.

Whole Slide Image Analysis offers fast and efficient means of obtaining quantitative information about tissue and cell samples. Predefined image analysis protocols measure morphological and spatial parameters, such as size, shape and position of the object, to provide quick, accurate and consistent results. Recent increases in computational power, cost-effectiveness of whole slide scanners and the improvement in image analysis algorithms have made automated image analysis a powerful tool to variety of research areas.

Whole Slide Stereology is an unbiased method of estimating important features, such as total cell count, volume, surface area, length volume/area fraction, and numeric density. Design-based stereology makes no assumptions and will provide you with 3-dimensional unbiased estimates that are statistically correct. Together with the newest whole slide technology this is now also very fast and efficient.

Join us and learn how whole slide image analysis or stereology can help streamline your research. Representatives from Olympus and Visiopharm will be on site to answer all your questions, and provide you with hands-on opportunities with Visiopharm software and Olympus Whole Slide Imaging Systems.
