How refreshing to work at a place where support can be easily found.  Now that I have worked for an organization that promotes an inclusive organizational culture, I can confidently say that moving forward, I’d recommend such a culture to anyone on a career path. You deserve a culture of acceptance, so expect it from your employer.”

It is incredible to work for a company that offers so many different ways to give back. Olympus matched my donation to a charity that I hold near and dear to my heart. I am also looking forward to taking advantage of the two-day allotment each employee is allowed to spend volunteering at an approved charity of their choice. It is an honor to be a part of such a kind and giving organization that sincerely cares about the health and well-being of its employees and the community. I love what I do, but I also I love the company I work for!”

When the Wellness program at Olympus started several years ago, I was at first resistant, but then I recognized it for the motivational tool that it is. I signed up for my first health screening and waited eagerly for the results. Many of my numbers were in the yellow, some even approaching red! My blood pressure was moderately high, along with my weight, and I was labeled as obese! The results floored me! Now, I’m in the best shape of my life and I’m training for my first full marathon.”

What attracted me to Olympus as a young professional was the culture of openness. From my first interview with Olympus, I knew that this company encouraged employees to challenge norms, have tough conversations in safe environments and most importantly I knew this organization was going to give me the opportunity to work with a variety of individuals. I have attended events, listened to guest speakers and have had meaningful conversations with managers on how young professionals can make a difference. I see that happening and I am proud to be a part of an organization that puts D&I at the forefront of everything we do!”

Our company’s greatest asset will, and always has been its people. For the health and future of our organization, we must be committed to developing a work environment where all differences are valued, where all people are equal, and everyone genuinely feels a sense of belonging. Diversity and inclusiveness are who we are, and how we work, and where people are inspired to lead and make bold decisions inclusively in their interactions every day.”

Olympus’ commitment to Diversity & Inclusion is one of my favorite things about working here. Knowing we have the support of executive management and down through the organization allows us to make significant impacts to working culture, awareness and education and overall acceptance of each other. Being involved in the INterAbilities CAN has allowed me to educate others company wide on many disabilities and we have been able to get conversations started between employees so we can better understand and support each other. The more we know about different disabilities, the better equipped we are to create a culture where they can be successful. Having a diverse and inclusive corporate culture benefits everyone and I’m so thankful and proud to work for a company that prioritizes these efforts.”
